Child protection has to face new challenges again and again in a constantly developing society. The influence of the media society with its new communication networks, the changing living environment, the different ideas of how to live, the challenges of immigration, constantly mean new challenges for help systems and child protection.
This process is being accompanied by the Child Protection Centres. They develop concepts, legislative proposals as well as guidelines for child protection work with children, adolescents and parents. They work out basics for the professional implementation of amendments and manuals for practice. They develop concepts based on their own standards which contribute to the rights of children, adolescents and adults to be respected. They also enhance basic conditions to strengthen professionals from child protection and youth welfare in their every day work.
